Tax Information @ Your Libraries

Alamance County Public Libraries will have 2009 federal individual income tax forms available to the public at library locations starting January 2, 2010.   N.C. state individual income tax forms are no longer available in bulk to public libraries.  If you need a 2009 N.C. D-400 individual income tax form, the library staff will be happy to download one for you from the internet at a cost of 10 cents per page.  You may also download the N.C. D-400 form yourself at the N.C. Department of Revenue website at http://www.dornc.com/downloads/

Appointments for individual income tax assistance for the elderly and low-income are no longer being sponsored at the library by AARP (the American Association of Retired Persons).  The library staff will post information on other sources of free income tax assistance on this website as they become known to us.
