Meet "Leo" the
Alamance County Public Libraries Mascot

Leo the Library Mascot

Visit Leo at the Burlington Downtown Corporation's Holiday Magic on November 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at May Memorial Library.

Third graders in Alamance County were invited to help name Alamance County Public Libraries’ new mascot and the name chosen is Leo. Thirty-five students chose Leo and they were recognized Saturday, November 3rd at May Memorial Library and a Grand Prize winner was selected. Laura Beth Countiss, a third grader at E. M. Yoder, is the Grand Prize winner.
