We all want to think that we can spot a scam from a mile away, but even the most savvy and intelligent investors can be swindled out of their hard-earned money by sophisticated scam artists. Do you know how to recognize investment red flags and the types of scams prevalent today? Barbara Bennett, an Investor Education Specialist with the North Carolina Secretary of State Securities Division, will be at the Graham Public Library on Tuesday, March 16 at 7:00 pm to discuss the warning signs of fraud, how to avoid them, how scammers find you, and why senior citizens are targets.
