Materials contributed to DigitalNC by Alamance County Public Libraries include a variety of high school yearbooks and the "Mebane Leader" newspaper.
Many historic Burlington City Directories are also available.
Salem History
Salem History includes biographical information on thousands of historical figures from ancient times to the twentieth century. It is especially useful for researching rulers, political figures, scientists, inventors, and important figures in arts and literature. Many articles also contain information on important historical events and discoveries in science and commerce.
Salem Health
Salem Health includes over 1,100 articles on major human diseases and disorders as well as articles on human anatomy and physiology and on major medical areas of specialization. It also contains information describing many common surgical and nonsurgical therapeutic procedures.
Ancestry Library Edition
With more than 1.5 billion names in over 4,000 databases, Ancestry Library Edition includes records from the United States Census; military records; court, land and probate records; vital and church records; directories; passenger lists and more.
