Summer Reading at the library isn’t just for kids! This summer, join us for our Adult Summer Reading program and exercise your mind. Our 6 week program runs from June 20th through August 1st. During this time the library will be partnering with local businesses and organizations throughout Alamance County.
Here is how you can join in the fun:
- Visit any of our participating businesses and pick up a free raffle ticket from our display.
- Bring your ticket to any Alamance County Library location. While you are here, make sure to check out our displays of books inspired by our local business partners.
- Check out any item to turn in your ticket. If you don’t have a library card, just bring your photo ID and proof of address to get signed up!
- Each ticket you turn in will count as an entry into our gift basket raffle at the end of the summer.
It’s that easy! We hope you will be inspired to visit a new place, learn about a new topic, or discover a great new book.
Participating Businesses: Alamance Wellness Studio, The Twisted Knitter, Melville Trading Company, Triangle Vinyl, The Broken Clasp, Grit & Grace, Mebane Knights, Quirks, Solgarden, Reed’s Coffee + Art, The Main Line, Court Square Florist, Smitty's Ice Cream, Spokes Bicycle Company, Game Over Comics
We will also have a series of free programs throughout the summer designed to teach you some fun new ways to stay active. You don’t have to attend one of these programs to participate in the giveaway, but we hope you will!
