Tax Information & Resources

As a service to the community, the Alamance County Public Libraries provide copies of current Federal and North Carolina tax forms and informative books.  Basic forms are available at the library during the months of January through April of each year.  Tax forms and instructions may also be downloaded from the Internet.  Use of the Internet is free at the library and printing is 10 cents per page.

Please note that the forms that are provided are for individuals.  The library does not carry forms for use by employers or small business.  The IRS phone number for individual income tax assistance is 1-800-829-1040.  The helpline for employers is 1-800-829-3676.

Library staff will assist library patrons in the use of these materials and resources but cannot offer tax advice, recommend forms to use or provide assistance in filling out forms.
