Tax
Information & Resources
As
a service to the community, the Alamance County Public
Libraries provide copies of current Federal and North
Carolina tax forms and informative books. Basic forms
are available at the library during the months of
January through April of each year. Tax forms and
instructions may also be downloaded from the Internet.
Use of the Internet is free at the library and printing
is 10 cents per page.
Please note that the
forms that are provided are for individuals. The
library does not carry forms for use by employers or
small business. The
IRS phone number for individual income tax assistance is
1-800-829-1040. The helpline for employers is
1-800-829-3676.
Library staff will assist
library patrons in the use of these materials and
resources but cannot offer tax advice, recommend forms
to use or provide assistance in filling out forms.
The Library
