Alamance County Public Libraries’ annual murder mystery is sure to be one of the highlights of your summer, filled with intrigue, excitement and a healthy dose of comedy. With help from the audience, it won’t take any time at all to figure out who murdered Professor Plum.
Local farmer and tenured college teacher, Professor Plum, has been stepping on quite a few toes recently, but is that any reason to kill him? Someone certainly thinks so. Could it be his loyal farmhand, Ms. Green? Maybe Plum’s competition at the local farmer’s market, retired officer Captain Banana? Perhaps Banana’s daughter, the lovely Miss Cherry? There’s always corporate businessman Mr. Pea and his right-hand man Señor Pod. Local reporter, Mr. White, could have done it and, of course, who could forget Mrs. Plum, the wife? Who had the motive? Who had the heart? Who murdered Professor Plum?
The event itself is free and for adults, ages 16 and over. It will take place at May Memorial Library at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 28th and Saturday, July 29th. Tickets will be available at your library beginning Monday, July 3rd and as always, space is limited, so remember to get yours early!
