Alamance County Public Libraries’ annual murder mystery is sure to be an out-of-this-world event, filled with intrigue and excitement and a healthy dose of comedy. With help from the audience, it won’t take any time at all to figure out who murdered our victim.
Emissary Gloria Rourke, of the Intergalactic Planetary Association, was an honest coworker, a faithful friend, and an earnest diplomat…until she wasn’t. Is that reason enough to kill her? Someone certainly thinks so. Could it be Captain Williams of the LS2 Juggernaut? Or maybe it was medical personnel, Uriah. E-arth President Julpay looks pretty suspicious. Perhaps the ship’s weapon’s officer, Echo, or the ship’s navigator, Codex, were in on it? What about the ship’s engineer, Wrench? Or his handy robot sidekick, Buttons? Who had the motive? Who had the heart? Who murdered Gloria Rourke?
Between all the political espionage, backstabbing, and hidden romance, this year’s murder mystery is one not to be missed. Expect anger, secrets, revenge, and what’s a murder mystery without the extraterrestrial mafia being involved?
