Alamance County Public Libraries’ eBook collection, Axis 360, is available to ACPL cardholders (must have a valid card and pin number). Axis 360 titles will currently run on any Windows PC and on iOS and Android mobile devices. Also known as the NC Live Homegrown Collection. A growing library of traditional content including, fiction, graphic novels, comics, children’s books, university press books and much more. Accessible using modern web browsers, including Google Chrome, our preferred browser. BiblioBoard is also available on the iPad®, iOS versions 7+, as well as Kindle Fire HD®, Nexus tablets® and Galaxy Tab® (Android 4.0+).
Movies, Music, & Television
A digital streaming service providing patrons an enormous selection of digital movies and television shows, music, and comics. Available through the app from a multitude of devices, including: iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV, FireTV, Roku. Find Hoopla instructions here.
Films On Demand is a database that provides access to over 20,000 educational films and documentaries. The site provides materials for nearly every course and discipline.

Children’s Books & Audiobooks
For kids’ pre – K through 4th grade, NC Kids Digital Library. Over 3,700 eBooks, audiobooks, videos and Read – Alongs are now available to younger readers via 85 regional, county and municipal libraries in North Carolina through OverDrive’s digital reading platform. These materials are instantly available for every child, at home and everywhere.
TumbleBook Library is a curated database of children’s e-books. With over 1100 titles for grades K-6, and includes our unique animated, talking picture books, read-along chapter books, national geographic videos, non-fiction books, playlists, as well as books in Spanish and French.
ABCmouse.com helps kids learn to read through phonics, and teaches lessons in math, social studies, art, music, and much more. For kids age 2 to 6 year olds at preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten levels.
