LEGO® Club: Want to have an afternoon of creative fun? Come construct with LEGO® we will provide the blocks and table space. Use your most ingenious creativity and have some fun with fellow builders. Ages 5 and up. Donations of LEGO® are welcome.

  • May Memorial Library: second Tuesday of every month at 4:00 p.m.
  • North Park Library: second Thursday of every month at 4:00 p.m.

Family Lego Time: one Thursday a month from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. at the Mebane Public Library. All ages welcome. Want to have some creative family fun? Come construct with LEGO® building bricks and take the “one-scoop” challenge! Creations made with one scoop of bricks or less will be displayed in the library.

Move to the Music: The Last Friday of the month at 10:30 a.m. at the Mebane Public Library.  An interactive preschool program filled with music and creative movement. There will be lots of activity and participation for both caregiver and child.   Music and rhythm are an important component of early literacy, making this program both educational and fabulously fun!

Origami Jr.: Suggested ages 8 – adult. Come learn the art of paper folding! Origami instructor, Ms. Wardelia, will teach participants origami designs for beginning to advanced folders.

  • Mebane Public Library: first Wednesday of every month at 4:30 p.m.
  • North Park Library: second Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m.

K-2 Craft Time:  First Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at the Graham Public Library. Crafty, creative fun just for children in kindergarten through 2nd grade. Registration required.

Crafty Kids:  Second Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at the Graham Public Library. For children in grades 3 – 5.  Grab a friend and join us! All you need to bring is your imagination and creativity, and we’ll supply the rest. Registration required.

Tween Tech Time: the fourth Monday of the month at 4:00 pm at Graham Public Library. For 5th-8th graders. Glued to your device? Wonder how they make those apps and games? Join us as we explore basic computer coding and game making.

“Make It” Teen and Tween Maker Club: one Monday afternoon a month at the Mebane Public Library.  For 6th – 12th graders. Come make cool stuff while learning new skills at this monthly S.T.E.A.M.- based program! All supplies will be provided, and it’s FREE!

Tween Time: Second Monday of the month at the Graham Public Library.  For 5th – 8th graders. Grab your friends and join us for crafts, games, and other activities designed just for you! Registration required.

Make and Take Crafts: the first Wednesday of the month at 3:00 p.m. at the North Park Library.  Come make a fun, easy craft that you can take home Children of all ages welcome.

AniMebane Club: Third Saturday of every month from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the Mebane Public Library.  For ages 13 and up. Spend an hour or two with other anime and manga fans socializing and watching anime! Throughout the year, we have special events such as cosplay contests, cool craft workshops, member-made AMVs, as well as other fun activities!

Homework Help: Monday through Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the North Park Library.  Volunteers will offer drop-in homework assistance for K – 8th graders. Students will have help practicing and maintaining reading and math skills.

Student Activity Day: Held throughout the school year on an early release day from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the North Park Library.  Bored when you get out of school early? Join us for fun themed activities and crafts!
